Kol Yisrael Arevim Zeh Bazeh – All of us are responsible for one another (Talmud, Shevuot 39a). The Temple Israel of Hollywood Sustaining Fund (the “Fund”) is a designated fund established in April 2020 to sustain TIOH membership and enrollment in its three schools during the COVID-19 pandemic and the ensuing financial crisis. Recognizing that our members face unexpected financial challenges and will require assistance, the Fund allows those most impacted to remain members of our community and schools. The Fund’s purpose, by extension, will also help ensure the long-term health of TIOH and preserve its identity by keeping our community intact. By doing so, we can both maintain our core strengths and build on TIOH’s mission and vision for the future.
