This group will meet every week for eight weeks.

Led by Susan Feiles - A meditation group for TIOHers interested in developing simple, yet meaningful, practices to strengthen their ability to create desired changes in their lives. We will use the teachings from Joey Klein's The Inner Matrix as a foundation for this learning. This group will meet weekly for six weeks beginning in January.

Led by Chris Bubser - This is a group of people who like to practice meditation together. We meet for an hour once a week in a private home, on Mondays at 8:30pm. We explore guided meditations based on various themes that seem appropriate at the time.

Coordinated by Ken Ostrove and led by Rabbi John Rosove, fellow TIOHers, and occasional guest speakers. -- This group has been meeting for over 20 years and gathers Friday mornings from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. in the Boardroom. We study the weekly Torah portion, discussing historical, religious, political and cultural perspectives, focusing on how the teachings relate to us in our daily lives. Friendship, support and camaraderie can be found along with the insightful discussions. No prior study is required. No regular attendance is required. If that is not enough, coffee, bagels and lox are served.

Pirke Avot (Sayings of the Fathers)- Led by David Aaronson - There is a tradition to study Pirke Avot - The Sayings of the Fathers between Pesach and Shavuot. This year will be the 8th year we will be studying with ancient and modern commentary and plenty of interesting discussion. Please purchase: Pirke Avot: A Modern Commentary on Jewish Ethics by Kravitz and Olitzky or any other version of this book. Sessions will be on 4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/21, 5/28, 6/4 from 7:15pm to 8:45pm

Coordinated by David Aaronson - In its 20th year, this egalitarian adult Shabbat Torah study is led by TIOHers, allowing for a unique experience of study among peers. We study every Shabbat at 9:00am at TIOH, occasionally meeting in private homes when the Temple is closed. The only pre-requisite is an open mind and setting aside the time to attend on Saturday mornings. Regularity is not a requirement, but helpful.

Led by Ricka Fisher - A group for TIOHers who are tutoring homeless, at-risk or under-served children around the city of Los Angeles. We will meet roughly three times a year as a group in addition to our individual tutoring commitments.

Led by Rabbi Jocee Hudson - 9:15-10:30am on 3/7, 4/4, 5/9 and 6/6 in the TIOH Boardroom. Jewish women have gathered on Rosh Chodesh, the first day of the Hebrew month, for generations. This day is seen as a sacred time for women to (re)connect both to one another and to their own spiritual centers. This will be a multigenerational space for women to learn, reflect, and share. Everyone is very welcome (no prior Jewish learning or background required).
